Our instructors



Rosario

Rosario is from Puebla, Mexico. She worked for 20+ years as an elementary school teacher at the American School of Puebla prior to transitioning to her role as International Baccalaureate (IB) coordinator for preschool and elementary school, which she held for 15 years. In her capacity as IB coordinator she developed and supervised the implementation of innovative bilingual programs across disciplines. Additionally, throughout her career Rosario taught Spanish as a second language to students from elementary school and to students from the University of Rio Grande and Ohio University. Rosario is currently To Spanish & Beyond’s Director of Program Development. When not developing innovate teaching techniques Rosario enjoys taking ballroom dancing and Italian lessons as well as spending time with her family and cats.  



Grecia

Grecia is from Puebla, Mexico. She is an alum of the region’s premier bilingual school, where she began learning English at a very young age and developed a passion to help others learn a second language. Upon graduation, Grecia attended university and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on cognitive development. She began her teaching career 5 years ago specializing in bilingual instruction and early stimulation for toddlers. Grecia joined the To Spanish & Beyond team as our Coordinator for Bilingual Early Stimulation. In her free time Grecia is passionate about rescuing street animals and nursing them back to health.



Antonio

Antonio is from Oaxaca, Mexico. He worked for 30+ years as a middle school Spanish teacher in the Mexican public school system. During his time as a Spanish teacher Antonio specialized in advanced grammar, literature, and reading comprehension. Additionally, throughout his career Antonio taught Spanish to numerous students from the University of Rio Grande and Ohio University. He currently serves as the Coordinator for Advanced Studies for To Spanish & Beyond. When not teaching Antonio enjoys singing, playing his guitar, and building furniture.



Laura

Laura is a native of Mexico. She developed a passion for teaching at a very young age and received a Bachelor of Science degree in infant development and teaching. She also possesses a Master’s degree in preschool education and several certifications from world renowned organizations in Spanish and English teaching. Additionally, Laura has 15+ years of experience as a teacher for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school students. Laura joins the To Spanish & Beyond team as our Coordinator for Preschool & Toddler Programs. In her spare time Laura enjoys painting and walking her dog around the neighborhood while spending time with her son.
